Kevin Kilty was raised in Massachusetss attending Marian High School in Framingham. As a young freshman Kevin not only played for the varsity team but was a critical component of their team success. He was awarded for his efforts receiving All American honors.

Prior to graduation at Marian High, Kevin was recruited to play for the Quebec Nordiques organization (currently the Phoenix Coyotes). At only seventeen years of age Kevin pursued his dream of playing professionally and signed a contract with the American Hockey League’s Binghamton Barons while completing his high school education in NY.
“It has always been my belief that the level of hockey a player achieves is directly related to that players skating ability. The better the skater, the better the player. It really is that simple.”
“Those that question our philosophy at Peak Performance Power Hockey need just watch any level youth game and see what players have puck possession most often…it’s always the best skaters. However, having said that, speed does not necessarily equate to sound technical skating. I have fast skaters (in a straight line) that are not good enough skaters (laterally) to be able to continue their improvements in the higher level skills of hockey because their technical skating is limited. In addition a players skating will never be good enough (always room for improvement) and needs to be continuously reinforced.”
“Your son and daughter can develop shooting and stickhandling skills in their driveway.
There is only one way to improve one’s skating…on the ice with proper instruction!
I hope to see you at Peak Performance Power Hockey this year.”
