Peak Performance Power Hockey school was a very positive experience for my son, Matt. Ed Ronan puts enthusiasm into his teaching, making the time on the ice loads of fun for the skaters. I expected my son to be exhausted after all of the strong skating every day, but he came off the ice asking when his next lesson would be. He looked forward to each and every day of camp,

Our opinion: You never showed frustration trying to organize a group of young kids. You helped Giles in striving torward success playing hockey. He had an overall improvement in attitude towards effort in sports. At the end of the summer, I asked which camp Giles liked the most. He attended four different camps. He said without hesitation, your camp, and wished he could go to it more often.

The Peak Performance camp was well organized and well run. There was a dramatic improvement in my sons skating ability by the end of the week. Great instruction and lots of fun. We will definitely enroll in your next camp.

Alex was fortunate enough to be able to skate with Ed during the hockey season. Whether he likes it or not, Mr. Ronan was an excellent role model who all the children and parents looked up to. Peak Performance was, by far, the best hockey camp weve attended. Due to the size of the camp, I felt all the players got the one-on-one attention needed to better his skating skills. I believe the drills were perfect for the skaters, and I hope Mr. Ronan has additional hockey camps in the future.

My kids looked forward to coming to the clinic each morning, and thought it was awesome to have a former NHL player as an instructor.

I have never seen anyone skate with such strength and expertise as Ed. My son noticed a big difference in the skills. Coach Ed stands and skates like a real professional hockey player as he gives out the drills. Without knowing coach Eds background, once you see him on the ice, its obvious that in some other life he was a pro. My son is so lucky to have found the best training available at such an early stage in his life.

I thought the camp was excellent. Especially important were the many drills which emphasized maneuverability such as turning, shifting left and right, balance, crossing over, lateral movement, and jumping, etc. I feel maneuverability drills are the most important because anyone can skate straight up and down, but the key to being a top hockey player is the ability to quickly shift to any position whether it be left, right, diagonal, crossing over, or backwards. Many of the drills were based on his concept of balance and maneuverability. I can take my son to any rink and public skate straight ahead forward until he drops. But he wont improve until he practices maneuverability drills and learns how to cut left, right, etc. and maintain his balance. The drill instructions were easy to follow as they were given clearly and then demonstrated. Each child received the appropriate attention and mistakes were corrected as they were seen. In summary, I thought Ed's camp was one of the best my son has attended and am looking forward to sending him again next year.

I liked the message Ed Ronan conveyed through his camp - I was never the best or the fasted hockey player growing up. but through hard work and perseverance he reached his goal - to be a professional hockey player and then go one step further and win a Stanley Cup Ring! Children need to know hard work pays off - accomplishments in life are not handed to them!
